But what is the difference between these two technologies (IPL AND SHR)?


Traditional IPLs use short pulses and deliver a large amount of energy which is transported to the hair bulb by melanin where heat of 65-72°Celsius is produced. Skin and red blood cells have a similar absorption coefficient to melanin and therefore absorb high levels of energy.

How does SHR technology work?
